22 years in the Army saw Craig living and working all around Australia as well as Europe, the USA, South Africa and South Pacific. His path finally intersected with Rotary in 1992 when he was introduced to the Rotary Club of Ginninderra in District 9710 in Canberra. He became President in 1995 and first honoured as a PHF in 1996.

After the Army, Craig embarked on a career in executive management. A new position drew him to Melbourne in 2010 and he transferred to the Rotary Club of Laverton Point Cook in District 9800. He served as President in 2014-15.

Craig retired to the South Australian Riverland in 2017 and transferred to the Rotary Club of Loxton. He has served on the District 9520 GSE Committee, the 9510 Youth Committee and as the Area Governor for District 9510 Area 5, incorporating the Barossa Valley and Riverland regions. He also serves as a member of the Board of Rotary Down Under.

Craig has two adult sons and a daughter as well as four grandchildren – all in secondary school and university. When Craig married Kiki in 2016 he was simultaneously blessed with two step-daughters and now also has three infant step-grandsons. Kiki is a dedicated full-time nurse at the Riverland General Hospital. Together Craig and Kiki have been host parents to inbound Rotary Youth Exchange students from Sweden and Finland.

Outside Rotary Craig is an enthusiastic community volunteer. He enjoys family time, reading, and trying to be creative in his home workshop.
